At this time, how can we live the charism of charity so as to bring about healing and hope for ourselves and others?  The conferences and teaching of St. Vincent de Paul will be foundational to the reflections and prayer.

A Sister of St. Joseph of Carondelet, served as an educator in parish/diocesan ministries for the Syracuse and Albany Dioceses; presently Spiritual Director on the staff of the Dominican Retreat and Conference Center in Latham, New York.

Dean of the Graduate School of Religion and Religious Studies at Fordham University; former professor, chaplain and founding Director of the Center for Theology and Spiritual Development at the College of St. Elizabeth, and Associate member of the Sisters of Charity of St. Elizabeth.

Director:  Helen Beairsto, RC

A Religious of the Cenacle, Sr. Helen has training in the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius, pastoral counseling and spiritual direction.  She is also an experienced Reiki Practitioner and Biospiritual Focusing Trainer and Facilitator.

NOTE:  Staff from the Island Wellness Center will be available during the weeks of retreat for massage, reiki, foot reflexology for a fee of $30.  Sign up sheets will be provided to schedule appointments.
